tModLoader

tModLoader is the community-supported Terraria modding platform. It adds an integrated mod browser, dependency handling, mod development tools, and separate modded saves while leaving the base Terraria installation available.

Installation:
- Steam owners can install tModLoader as the free Terraria companion application.
- Manual and preview builds are available from the official GitHub releases page.
- Keep Terraria, tModLoader, and installed mods on compatible release branches.

Back up worlds and characters before moving between major Terraria or tModLoader versions.
